Hollywood Inspired Compositing with 3D

Learn How to Create Custom 3D Objects for Compositing Effects

This project we will explore more compositing effects using Photoshop 3D. Inspired by the recent X-Men movie poster, we will see how 3D can be used to create custom objects with textures and 3D lighting by creating a stone 3D figure then add special effects to create the particle disintegration effect. Then we will add some cinematic 3D text and then add some other finishing effects. This is a great example of using 3D to create the early stages of a design element then compositing with other 2D effects.

What you will learn:

• Use 3D to create custom design elements
• Create particle and flare effects
• Create dramatically lit 3D text
• finishing effects
• and much more!
